Psychotherapy for Men in Bristol

I have been working with men of a wide range of ages for many years now, including some who have been suicidal or self-harming, had obsessional thoughts and behaviours, and who have suffered neglect, grief, loss, and relationship breakdown. I have worked with sexual or physical violence, anger, rage, and the silence of what has gone unspoken in life. I have also worked with depression and disengagement, with shame, psychosis, and other mental health issues within the safety of a strong, well-held ethical framework.

  • Sessions are your space to bring whatever you would like to explore and investigate in your life. At times men arrive in therapy saying that they have been told to come and do not want to be here. You are the expert of your own life, and what you feel is important will lead the work. I will be with you to support you in exploring and building the constructive and productive changes you wish to see in your life.
