In psychotherapy, we work together with compassion and curiosity to help you achieve more freedom of choice in how you relate to yourself, your life, and those around you. Here is some important information:
- Choosing the right therapist is key. As such, I offer an initial free session. We will talk through what could happen in a 60-minute session, which is tailored to your specific needs.
- We can discuss whether it feels right for us to work together, what you are looking for in the work, and how this work might help you
- Sessions usually take place weekly, at the same time, with a minimum of a week’s notice for absences or holidays, unless in emergency situations.
- There is a 4-week ending notice period to allow us to end the process of the therapy.
Psychotherapy is a slow process, and one that needs time to develop in line with your own journey of transforming your life. As such, it is often long-term work. However, it can in some situations also be useful in the short term, depending on your particular needs.
Sessions are confidential and take place in the comfortable and professional atmosphere of Fulcrum House.
I adhere to the UKCP and BACP codes of ethics, and have regular personal supervision to maintain the quality of the therapy I provide for you.
